About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Division of Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Palliative Care at the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Medical Administrative Officer and contribute to the efficient operation of human resources functions relating to medical staff and trainee medical officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Medical Administrative Officer, including contributing to the effective operation of human resources functions relating to medical staff and trainee medical officers;
  • Assist with following-up and submitting Credentialling applications, including uploading documents and updating lists on databases;
  • Contribute to the development of an integrated team approach and culture that is highly responsive to the needs of consumers;
  • Process and/or edit documents, including confidential material, as instructed.
Requirements
  • A strong background in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
  • High-level organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities;
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and manage confidential and sensitive information.
