SA Health is seeking a highly skilled and caring Occupational Therapist to join the Trevor Parry Centre Team.



About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a clinical case load and providing individual rehabilitation coordination to consumers with complex and specialised needs.




  • Linking and co-ordinating an appropriate range of resources and specialist and general services within and across sectors working towards integrated rehabilitation planning
  • Advocating and negotiating on behalf of the consumer with relevant groups/organisations
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating a range of social, work, recreation, living skills and individual programs, relevant to the needs of the consumer


The ideal candidate will possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas succinctly and logically.



They will also be able to work collaboratively and cohesively with consumers, carers, other agencies, community services and the multi-disciplinary team to develop an integrated rehabilitation plan.



About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.




  • Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
