Senior Waste Management Professional

Join us in a unique and exciting opportunity to lead our waste services team. As a Senior Waste Management Professional, you will be responsible for the collection and processing of waste and unwanted resources, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective services are delivered to residential and business customers.

About the Role

This is a key position that requires an experienced professional with a track record in waste management or related fields. You will lead strategic projects, manage procurement activities for complex contracts, and ensure compliance with regulations. Your role will also involve delivering continuous service improvement through innovative service delivery and customer education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major strategic projects, including securing and delivering long-term waste collection contracts.
  • Manage a team that procures and oversees contracts providing essential services to approximately 30,000 properties weekly.
  • Ensure Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot remains compliant and provides high-quality services.
  • Deliver continuous service improvement through innovative service delivery and customer education.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experienced professional with a track record in waste management or related fields.
  • Ability to lead strategic projects and manage procurement activities for complex contracts.
