- Permanent – Full Time – Port Kembla, NSW
- $35.08 per hour + Overtime as required. All overtime is paid at overtime rates
- Day shift with flexible start times
- Uniforms and PPE provided
- Induction and training provided
Your new role
- Operation of Vacuum Trucks and Road Tankers
- Load and unload Commercial and industrial waste (Oily water and Septic tanks)
- Operate Vehicle Check & Service tracking Phone Apps
- Interacting with our clients in the industrial, mining and shipping sector
- Inductions and training for BFM, Industry, Dangerous goods, Shipping and Mining will be supplied as required
- Work is mainly local, but may include trips to Sydney or Newcastle
- Occasional trips interstate may be available
- As our customers operate 24/7, overtime, on call and weekend roster (every 6 weeks)
- Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
- Comply with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
About you
To be successful in the role, you will have the following:
- A manual (road ranger) HR or HC (preferred) Licence with a clean driving record
- Good attitude, reliable and willingness to learn
- Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Waste industry experience is preferred but not required
