Overview

HR Driver - Liquid Collection at Cleanaway Waste Management. Permanent full-time role based in Port Kembla, NSW.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Vacuum Trucks and Road Tankers
  • Load and unload commercial and industrial waste (oil water and septic tanks)
  • Perform vehicle checks and service tracking
  • Interact with clients in the industrial, mining and shipping sectors
  • Complete inductions and training for BFM, industry, dangerous goods, shipping and mining as required
  • Local work with potential trips to Sydney or Newcastle; occasional interstate trips may be available
  • Overtime, on-call and weekend roster (every 6 weeks) due to 24/7 customer operations
  • Yard work and daily pre-start and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Comply with fatigue management rules, regulations and training

  • Day shift with flexible start times
  • Uniforms and PPE provided
  • Induction and training provided
Qualifications
  • A manual (road ranger) HR or HC (preferred) licence with a clean driving record
  • Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Waste industry experience is preferred but not required
