About the Role

As a seasoned warehouse professional, you will lead our team in Warrnambool to ensure efficient operations and maintain a safe working environment. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your leadership skills and experience in warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular team meetings.
  • Manage staff effectively, including workload distribution, performance evaluation, leave coordination, and staff development.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate with internal departments and clients/suppliers to optimize site productivity.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations and conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment, signage, and infrastructure are maintained.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS.
  • Plan and manage warehouse budgets and costs efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations management.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with primary goods and/or dairy product logistics requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, preferably with experience managing large teams.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A current Victorian Driver's licence and own vehicle.
