We are seeking a skilled and reliable mechanic to join our team at a busy Cranbourne based workshop.

The successful candidate will work alongside a supportive team of 4 other mechanics, offering servicing, diagnosing, repairs and RWC's for all makes and models.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Servicing, diagnosing and repairs on all makes and models
  2. Dismantle and remove engine parts and assemblies
  3. Reassemble engine components after repair
  4. Test mechanical parts for competency and repair if necessary
  5. Inspect vehicles and test for roadworthiness
  6. Customer service and cleaning duties as required

This role requires a strong skill set in:

  • AQF Cert III including at least 2 years of experience or at least 3 years of relevant experience to substitute formal qualifications
  • Experience in servicing and repairs on all makes and models
  • Ability to work effectively as a team and independently
  • Reliable, trustworthy and professional attitude

Availability is required from Monday to Saturday (half day), with availability on Saturday essential. Saturdays are an overtime shift on top of base salary. Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
