Are you an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic who takes pride in delivering top-notch automotive service and repairs? BDS Motor Pty Ltd is looking for a dedicated professional to join our growing team and help us keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Conduct routine servicing, safety checks, and preventative maintenance
  • Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering system repairs
  • Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment accurately and safely
  • Maintain clear service records and job documentation
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Assist with training apprentices and less experienced staff

Qualifications & Experience :

Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in an automotive workshop environmentStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsA current and valid driver's licenceReliable, punctual, and self-motivatedAbility to work in a fast-paced workshop and manage multiple jobs effectivelyKnowledge of OH&S and safe workshop practices
