About the Role

The Allied Health Workforce Development Lead will play a key role in driving the development and implementation of healthcare education strategies across various clinical settings.

This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, expertise in clinical education, and experience in planning and evaluating educational programs for allied health professionals and students.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in an allied health therapy profession, current registration with AHPRA, and postgraduate qualifications in education or relevant field.

They will also possess excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, as well as high-level IT skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic direction for clinical education programs
  • Work closely with allied health directors, profession heads, and The Learning Hub to provide leadership and support
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate education programs for allied health professionals and students
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in clinical education and apply this knowledge to improve programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an allied health therapy profession
  • Current registration with AHPRA for registered professions or eligible for membership of relevant professional association for non-registered professions
  • Postgraduate qualifications in education or relevant field
  • Extensive experience in clinical education programs, including supervising learners in a relevant clinical environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to inspire, influence, and motivate staff
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • High-level IT skills
