Overview

PFD Food Services is seeking a seasoned leader to drive business growth and excellence in our Rockhampton branch. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales, operational, and leadership skills to propel the company forward.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum

As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales initiatives, inventory management, cash flow control, and staff evaluation. You will also be tasked with promoting the company's product range to existing and potential customers, ensuring adherence to HACCP, quality, and food safety standards, as well as implementing occupational health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, driving sales and operational performance through effective team management and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, leveraging analytical skills and market insights.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and analysis to inform decision-making and drive business improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, operations, or leadership roles, preferably in the food services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, remaining flexible and open to new ideas.
