About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for operating the business as if it were your own. You will lead and support your team from the front, driving sales within the store and contributing to its overall success.
Your role will involve developing and mentoring your team to self-improve and set up for success. You will have a creative flair and exceptional eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of the store's operations runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting your team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Mentoring and training your team to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained across all areas of the store
- Managing stock levels, inventory, and supplies to meet customer demands
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in an Assistant Management position, preferably in retail or a related industry
- A passion for driving KPIs and budgets, with the ability to educate and train your team to achieve these goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
