Senior HSE Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team at Rheinmetall Defence Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane. As a Senior HSE Business Partner, you will play a critical role in maintaining a culture focused on risk management, injury prevention, and continual improvement.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in OHS and environmental management, with experience in developing and maintaining integrated management systems. You will be responsible for providing practical HSE support and guidance to our teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and maintenance of our integrated management systems, including OHS, environmental, and energy management.
- Provide HSE guidance and support to our teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain technical documents, such as procedures, work instructions, and SWMS.
- Collaborate with our teams to implement best practice processes and systems.
- Integrated systems Lead Auditor certification.
- Experience with ISO standard systems development, maintenance, and certification.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical documents.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced level capability in MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
- Proven industry experience in a similar role.
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required.
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Long weekends every second week with a 9 day fortnight.
