About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our client's team in Brisbane. As a leading developer and builder, they are committed to delivering high-quality projects while prioritizing the health and safety of their employees.

The successful candidate will have recent experience working in a commercial construction environment, with a strong understanding of HSE legislation and procedures. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site audits, and providing training to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with senior management and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a commercial construction company
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Hands-on and proactive approach to HSE
  • Minimum Cert IV in Health and Safety
