Job Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide assurance and governance on the maintenance of Navy and Army diving systems, hyperbaric, and life support systems.

This role involves assessing maintenance packages, including scoping, planning, and reviewing, and providing recommendations for consideration.

Audits will be conducted on contractors' work, processes, and facilities to ensure compliance with established standards.

Effective communication and relationship-building skills are essential in this role, as the candidate will need to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety aspects of Defence capability are considered and incorporated into life support technical activities and tasks.

Maintenance of technical knowledge on relevant processes, packages, products, and equipment is also a critical aspect of this role.

Additionally, this position requires strong organizational and project management skills to manage workflows, resources, and team plans, ensuring measurable milestones and expected outcomes are achieved.
