About the role

Bowline Marine is seeking a full-time Commercial Diving Assistant to join our team in Kirribilli, NSW. As a Commercial Diving Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial diving operations, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of underwater tasks and projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting commercial divers with the preparation, setup, and maintenance of diving equipment
  • Monitoring diving operations and providing support to divers as required
  • Ensuring the work area is safe and hazards are identified and mitigated
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of diving activities
  • Participating in regular equipment inspections and maintenance
  • Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a commercial diving assistant or in a related labourer role
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
  • Valid certification in commercial diving or a willingness to obtain one
  • Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations
