">Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Child Protection Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Risk assessment and analysis: further develop and coach others in their understanding of risk assessment and analysis">
">
  • Case planning review and case management: provide case planning advice, guidance, and support to others; directly support and input into cases where there is unacceptable risk to the child">
">
  • Critical inquiry: lead planning, review, and management of issues in line with best practice principles and legislative requirements">
">Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong understanding of social justice and complex family dynamics">
">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
">
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team">

Additionally, you will require a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel, including in-country regions and interstate. Overnight and early morning travel may also be required.
