Job Overview

This is a crucial role that involves creating and executing marketing strategies, managing sales activities, and developing customer relationships to maximize revenue and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Management:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
    • Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Manage and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
    • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote the shop's products and services.
    • Develop promotional materials such as flyers, social media content, and email newsletters.
    • Plan and manage in-store events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
    • Collaborate with local businesses and organizations for cross-promotional opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and attract new ones.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Implement loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies to enhance customer retention.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
    • Analyze competitor activities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
    • Use insights from research to refine product offerings and improve customer experience.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Train, supervise, and support the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Set clear objectives and performance metrics for team members.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Prepare sales reports and marketing performance metrics for review.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the retail or food industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of fruit and vegetable products and their market dynamics is a plus.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Working conditions include full-time hours with occasional weekend and evening work.
