We seek an experienced Senior Basis Consultant to join our team, based in one of our offices or working from home. As a key member and leader of our hands-on Aftercare team, you will be responsible for ongoing administration, support, and maintenance of diverse SAP solutions across various industries. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical issues and incident management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project team members to implement SAP functions and administer/maintain the SAP technical landscape, including

Key Tasks:

System Patching and UpgradesDatabase and Operating System migrationsSystem AdministrationPerformance fine-tuningTechnical Configuration Management - Level 3 ticketsPerform SAP BASIS technical consulting, including service restorations/options analysis/impact analysis/technical specifications/release management/future plans for process/system enhancements within the SAP application landscapeImplement configuration changes in non-production environments; perform unit/functional unit testing of the changes before promoting to production via approved transport policies/processes to ensure system integrity.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 7+ years of experience with SAP, including broad knowledge of leading-edge SAP technology in ERP, S/4 HANA, and connectivity to all SAP Cloud Products
  • Solid SAP Basis and security knowledge encompassing all areas of system administration, performance, and lifecycle management
  • Experience in a multi-customer environment in a consultancy (SAP Partner)
  • Working knowledge and experience with various SAP components, operating systems, and database technologies
  • Favourable skillset would include: HANA, SQL, Oracle, Linux, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, and Focus Run
  • Experience and know-how of cloud environments as Azure and/or AWS
  • Exceptional troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills for customer communication
  • Must be self-sufficient, organized, and proactive
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
