About the Role

We are seeking an experienced editor to manage our content workflow, guaranteeing accuracy and clarity in all copy and content produced by our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that all copy is edited, proofread, and fact-checked to meet high standards of quality.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement editorial strategies that align with our brand's vision.
  • Managing the approval process for marketing content and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining best practices for digital content creation and publishing.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our content operations.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sub-editing or a related field.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English Literature, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing web-friendly copy using SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask effectively and manage competing deadlines.
  • An understanding of digital retail, beauty, fashion, and trends.
  • A strong attention to detail and tactical execution with a resourceful, can-do attitude.
  • The ability to partner with and manage cross-functional stakeholders, including product developers, designers, and marketers.
  • Familiarity with CMS and DAM systems is highly desirable.
