About the Role

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a highly skilled ICT Release Manager to join our Corporate Services and Infrastructure team. As a key member of our Technology Services and Data Security (TSDS) business unit, you will play a critical role in enhancing the execution of our Agile Release Train against plans and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Program Increment (PI) plans and facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coach and contribute to Release and environment best practice, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the Release to Production process and its corresponding guardrails with relevant stakeholders.
  • Enhance deployment and management phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Lead and manage project planning, including business requirements, forecasting, budget, planning, and governance to ensure projects are aligned with business priorities.
Requirements
  • Expert-level knowledge and proficiency with scaled Agile tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in technical release governance and change management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
