Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Swimming Instructors and Coaches to join our team. As a Casual Swim Programs Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality swimming programs to meet the needs of our community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about swimming and coaching. You will be responsible for delivering swim programs to enable participants to achieve their personal development goals and improve their swimming skills. You will work closely with our Crew Leaders to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different age groups and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality swim programs to participants of all ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with our Learn to Swim Program guidelines.
  • Continuously review and track participant progress.
  • E nsure participant safety at all times through provision of safe activities and surveillance.
  • Prepare lessons and equipment as instructed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current AUSTSWIM qualification in teaching of swimming and water safety or equivalent.
  • Current Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID 001 / HLTAID 009).
  • Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number (if applicable).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality swim programs or coaching swimming.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to changing circumstances.

This is a casual position up to 38 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate and penalty rates for weekend work. You will also receive superannuation benefits and have opportunities for professional growth and development.
