Job Title: Swimming Coach

We are seeking a skilled Swimming Coach to deliver high-quality classes to the community. The successful applicant will have a current Swim Instructor qualification and excellent communication skills.

This is a casual position based at our aquatic centres with occasional travel required across LGA facilities. The coach will work within a team environment, delivering swimming lessons to people of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To design and deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to students of varying skill levels
  • To provide exceptional customer service and ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for students
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and coaching swimming, as well as excellent time management and organisational skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements:
  • A current Swim Instructor qualification or willingness to complete
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
