Position OverviewWe are in search of a committed and skilled Personal Injury Claims Specialist to enhance our CTP Insurance division in Brisbane. This pivotal role involves overseeing intricate CTP insurance claims, collaborating with injured individuals, healthcare providers, legal advisors, and various stakeholders to secure optimal results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and nurture productive relationships with essential internal and external stakeholders, employing a cooperative strategy to gather information and seek technical insights from colleagues for effective claims management.
- Oversee the comprehensive claims management process, identifying the necessity for clinical information to formulate effective case management strategies while adhering to legislative and compliance timelines.
- Address client inquiries in alignment with established service standards.
- Ensure precise claims data entry in accordance with quality assurance standards and reporting requirements to facilitate accurate payments and claims processing.
- Prepare documentation, files, and records for legal proceedings, including trials and subrogation, and submit administrative reports as necessary.
- Maintain current knowledge and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Assist in the execution of the Claims strategy to support the achievement of overall business objectives.
- Engage in all pertinent meetings to share and develop strategies, knowledge, and best practices.
- 1-2 years of experience in a case management capacity within a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with the Personal Injury or insurance sector is advantageous.
- Demonstrates empathy and resilience, with a strong interest in aiding stakeholders through challenging and sensitive circumstances.
- Knowledge of the ClaimCentre system is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Possesses stakeholder management and negotiation skills, along with an understanding of problem resolution.
- A strong desire to learn, coupled with excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a proactive, positive demeanor.
