Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an occupational rehabilitation consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about helping others recover from injuries and return to work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology or nursing, with a focus on occupational rehabilitation. They will be able to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans that meet the needs of injured workers and support their return to work.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify workplace hazards and develop recommendations to prevent injuries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees, employers, medical specialists and allied health professionals to develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to promote return to work strategies and provide education and support.
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA).
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing.
  • Strong clinical reasoning.
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
