Job Summary

A Behavioural Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in supporting clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions.

They provide 1:1 therapy, support skills development, and collect data to track progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy to clients in various settings, including home, clinic, and school
  • Support clients in developing skills for communication, social interactions, and emotional regulation
  • Collect client data to identify areas for improvement and track progress
  • Create a positive environment that encourages client participation
Skill & Experience Requirements
  • Studying or completed a degree/certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential
Requirements
  • Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
  • Australian Driver's License & Vehicle
  • Laptop/iPad – you will be using your own device on shift
