**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an exceptional Developmental Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of the Stepped Care Allied Health Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring families have access to the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

**Key Responsibilities:

- Triage developmental referrals received by the hospital using various tools, including a developmental eligibility matrix, telephone screening interviews with families, and case conferences.
- Collaborate closely with internal RCH departments and community developmental care teams to build strong working relationships and improve access to developmental care for families.
- Identify optimal pathways for children at risk of developmental delay and ensure timely access to appropriate internal and/or external services.

**Requirements:

- Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team context.
- Demonstrated skills in the assessment and provision of services to children with developmental disability/delay.
- Excellent professional, interpersonal, interaction, and self-reflection skills to enable effective work with people of different personalities and backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in an environment of change.
