Job Overview


Frontline Retail Melbourne is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team in Melbourne. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's HR strategy and working collaboratively in a creative and autonomous setting.



About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a small but supportive team at our head office and contribute to the overall HR strategy, helping to grow and evolve the HR function as the company scales.


The successful candidate will have proven experience in HR management, preferably in the luxury fashion or retail industry, and strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and performance management.


We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who can build relationships at all levels and work autonomously while being an integral part of a collaborative team.


The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.



Key Responsibilities


  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent aligned with our brand values.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes and support managers in employee development and career progression.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with labour laws and best practices.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate programs to enhance skills and career growth within the team.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the luxury fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships at all levels.
  • Able to work autonomously while being an integral part of a collaborative team.
