Mental Health Specialist

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will deliver high-quality clinical psychological interventions to young people with complex mental health needs in the Geraldton and surrounding areas.
This role involves delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, conducting comprehensive assessments, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure high-quality service delivery.
You will also provide clinical consultation, advice, and supervision to internal staff, supporting clinical decision-making and professional development.
About You- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and AHPRA registration with endorsement in Clinical Psychology are essential for this role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical psychological assessment, therapy, and interview techniques with young people is required.
- Ability to adapt various psychological assessments and treatment techniques for complex presentations is necessary.
- High interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving and negotiation skills, and ability to consult, liaise, and negotiate with team members, other professionals, and outside agencies are essential.
