About the Role

As a mental health professional, you will have the opportunity to support young people through enhanced services. This role is entrusted with delivering clinical services to young people in Geraldton and surrounding areas who require complex mental health interventions.

  • Deliver psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, family therapy, and systems interventions within a community setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using interviews, observations, psychometric tools, and systems evaluations to inform treatment plans.
  • Participate in clinical reviews, multidisciplinary meetings, and consult regularly with the Clinical Lead to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide consultation, advice and supervision to internal staff, supporting decision-making and professional development.
  • Liaise with external services to ensure coordinated care for young people within the program.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and records in line with policies and statutory requirements.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement through participation in innovation, evaluation, and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for young people with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care services.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evaluate program effectiveness.
