About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems and Infrastructure Leader to join our team at MicrotechDPS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed team of level 3 IT professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and lead a team of senior engineers and architects to ensure high performance and ongoing professional development.
  • Encourage innovation and improvement, adopting new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring they align with client objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential risks and implement security measures to protect all organizations' IT infrastructure.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensuring the team's technical skills remain current.

About You

  • At least 5 years' experience in successfully leading a technical team within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, openly, and honestly with others.
  • Hold a relevant degree in IT or a related field or significant experience in the field.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and service delivery experience.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management and project stakeholders.
