About the Role

Job Summary:

The IT Solution Architect will be a key member of the IT leadership team at Albury Wodonga Health, responsible for leading the development of architectures for complex systems. This role requires a strong understanding of business needs and the ability to design solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements.
  • Provide solution design expertise for all AWH's information systems and digital assets.
  • Establish governance, framework, policy, and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components.
  • Coordinate design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.
  • Ensure that design solutions are appropriately documented, meet any legislative requirements, and provide education and information sharing.
  • Manage the target design, policies, and standards within a business change program.
  • Provide advice to the CIO on governance, strategy, systems, and governance.
  • Undertake the management and supervision of staff, vendors, and contractors to meet the IT Enterprise Architectural standards.
