We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT Systems and Infrastructure to join our team at The Goddard School Of Sugar Hill, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed team of level 3 IT professionals (engineers/architects) responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor, provide technical expertise, and review to the team to ensure high performance and ongoing professional development.
- Encourage innovation and improvement, adopting new technologies and processes to improve efficiency.
- Oversee the planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring they align with client objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and implement security measures to protect all organizations' IT infrastructure.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensuring the team's technical skills remain current.
- Manage resources, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- At least 5 years' experience in successfully leading a technical team (senior engineers, architects or similar) within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Strong leadership skills, leading by example, working collaboratively, openly, honestly with others.
- Hold a relevant degree in IT or related field or significant experience in the field.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, strong service delivery experience, and ITIL knowledge.
- Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management and project stakeholders.
- Pragmatic thinker and eager to investigate solutions.
