HSES Advisor Role
Implement and oversee the execution of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems at our sites in Laverton North and Altona. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Drive group HSES initiatives to achieve best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date risk assessments and permits.
- Foster open consultation and communication on HSES matters.
- Provide accurate reports and documentation.
- Manage preventative and corrective actions.
- Oversee record keeping and retention of HSES materials.
- Monitor and improve existing policies and practices.
- Implement the Velocity EHS system.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and champion improvements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years' experience as a Safety and Environmental Advisor.
- In-depth knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation.
- Ongoing Lead Auditor training.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodology.
- Proven expertise in Australia/New Zealand environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
- Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
