We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Professional to play a pivotal role in our finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoice validation, timely payment processing, and adherence to established financial policies within an automated accounts payable environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate and process invoices accurately using AP automation software, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Perform periodic vendor account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Ensure creditor invoice processing and payments align with company policies and procedures, minimizing the risk of errors and non-compliance.
  • Respond efficiently to AP-related inquiries from internal teams and external vendors, providing timely and effective support.
  • Manage vendor setup in accordance with company guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process foreign currency invoices and payments in compliance with established policy, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of [X] years of experience in accounts payable, preferably with a tertiary qualification in a related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and automated AP platforms is highly desirable, as well as experience with AP automation software.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • They should be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
