The role of Deputy Electoral Commissioner presents a unique chance to spearhead and contribute to the strategic direction of the electoral process.

Reporting directly to the Electoral Commissioner, this position requires an exceptional leader with experience in managing complex electoral events, operational activities, and technology modernisation. Key responsibilities include driving organisational change, providing executive leadership, building strategic relationships, and maintaining high levels of ethical behaviour.

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, public administration or law is essential.
  • Proven ability to operate with highest levels of honesty, integrity and respect is crucial.
  • Experience leading a complex organisation at executive level is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess strong executive presence, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to exercise delegated powers in the absence of the Electoral Commissioner.
