Job Overview

The Infrastructure Worker role is a vital component of our rail operations team, focusing on providing engineering and maintenance work across the Sydney rail network.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong work ethic, previous experience in a construction/maintenance environment, and ability to operate technical/industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team providing Engineering and Maintenance work across the Sydney rail network.
  • Play a key role in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of tracks.
  • Be primarily based at our heavy plant depot and collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.
  • Work across the rail network, which will require significant travel.
  • Occasionally live away from home to ensure safety and manage fatigue.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need skills in plant operation, worksite protection, and inspection. You'll also need to undertake heavy manual work and have experience working in a safety-critical environment.

You'll hold a current NSW Class C drivers' license and be comfortable driving a 4WD/UTE type of vehicle.

  • TVO - Track Vehicle Operator
  • TMO Heavy - Track Machine Operator
