Join our team as a Maintenance Crew Member - multiple positions

Are you reliable, hardworking, and keen to be part of a team that keeps our roads safe and functional? If so, we invite you to apply for the Maintenance Crew Member position at Redland City Council

Your responsibilities will include:

Road repairs and maintenance activities

Pothole patching, resurfacing, and sealing works

Vegetation and drainage maintenance

Traffic control and site safety management

Operating small plant, tools, and equipment

Assisting with general labouring duties as required

Concreting.

Skills and experience:

Previous experience in civil construction, roadworks or labouring

Current C class driver's licence (MR desirable)

Ability to work safely as part of a team

White Card (Construction induction)

Traffic Awareness training or willing to obtain within the first 6 months.

Eligibility - Level 4:

You'll hold a current Class C Drivers Licence.

Successful applicants will be asked to consent to a police check. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits. (delete if not required)

To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Eligibility - Level 5:

Level 4 requirements and;

Minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant field

MR Licence & plant operator tickets or HR licence

Cert II Civil Construction or equivalent.
