About the Role

The Senior Finance Analyst will play a pivotal part in our finance team, focusing on supporting business growth across Australia.

This key position will be responsible for partnering with various business streams to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements, developing and publishing regular financial reports, performing controllership activities, and conducting ad hoc strategic analysis to drive program expansion.

  • Collaborate with multiple business teams to design and execute cost-saving initiatives and process enhancements
  • Create and distribute regular financial reports highlighting key performance indicators and metrics
  • Perform weekly/monthly controllership tasks alongside variance analysis versus plan and forecast
  • Conduct ad hoc strategic analysis to drive program growth, balancing delivery speed initiatives with cost efficiency

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
  • 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
  • Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
  • MBA, or CPA
  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
