This role requires a skilled and versatile individual to undertake various tasks including maintenance work on-site, new project work, upgrades to existing facilities, and the establishment of new facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance work on-site in Brisbane
- Project work including upgrades to existing facilities and the establishment of new facilities within Australian and International laboratories
The ideal candidate will have a strong trade background with relevant certification (preferably in Carpentry), current driver's license, and experience in carpentry, building, cabinet making, laminated particle board benchtop fabrication, and installation work.
Requirements:- Relevant Trade certificate (preferably in Carpentry)
- Current driver's license (A class) manual
- Demonstrated carpentry, building, cabinet making, laminated particle board benchtop fabrication, and installation work experience
- Likes to work on various projects that do not just include carpentry.
- Has the knowledge and experience in other trades outside their own (i.e. Fitting, welding, plumbing), or a desire to learn
- Flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally for extended periods on a regular basis
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, whilst being committed to the work of a team
- Excellent work ethic
- Proven ability to handle a diverse workload whilst working to deadlines
