Maintenance and Cleaning Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in facilities management?

  • This role involves overseeing the maintenance and cleaning of our campus facilities to ensure they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents.
  • You will work closely with the General Manager to support inspections, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to creating a positive living experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general repairs such as plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
  • Maintain gardens and common areas to a high standard.
  • Oversee cleaning and upkeep of shared facilities including kitchens, BBQs, and laundries.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance and manage spare parts.
  • Support inspections and liaise with contractors when required.
Requirements:
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • A safety-first mindset and understanding of basic OH&S principles and chemical handling.
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality/property management sector.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
