We are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Professional to join our dynamic Finance team at Marsh Pacific in Sydney.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. You will be responsible for accurate and timely revenue recognition, reporting, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare revenue accruals and reconciliations, collaborating closely with local controllers on revenue recognition issues.
  • Perform revenue analysis, including client level analytics.
  • Support quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning processes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Support the business with development of ad hoc reports and analysis.
  • Assist the wider finance team with internal reporting requirements and financial controls.
Requirements
  • Degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent.
  • CPA/CA qualification.
  • Management Accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Confident communication skills and a passion for partnering with the business.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and challenge the business where appropriate.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, handle competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.
Bonus: Desired Skills
  • Experience with Oracle EPM is highly regarded.
  • Dashboard experience preferred but not essential.
