Lead Store Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our clearance store, combining stock movement, assembly and display with sales leadership, coaching and memorable customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate: Inspire your team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional service.
  • Hands-On Work: Be directly involved in moving stock, assembling furniture, and maintaining store tidiness.
  • Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers, making every shopping experience memorable.
  • Operations & Stock: Manage inventory, coordinate stock flow, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Develop Talent: Train and support your team, helping them grow their skills in both retail and operations.
  • Keep Standards High: Ensure compliance with business policies and create a safe, organized store environment.

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience - with the ability to guide and inspire a team.
  • Retail + Warehousing mix - background in sales and operations (furniture experience a bonus).
  • Sales-driven - proven record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Customer-focused - passionate about service and relationship building.
  • Physically capable - able to safely lift and move furniture (up to 30kg).
  • Flexible availability - including weekends and peak trading periods.
