Security Vetting Leader

As a seasoned security leader, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team in Perth. Your expertise will be crucial in handling complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels.

You will be responsible for leading teams, assessing clearance cases, and leveraging your experience in vetting with attention to detail and ability to manage a complex process. Quality Assurance is also a key aspect of this role, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs) and providing sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing security clearances meticulously, adhering to Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) best practices
  • Conducting thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs), ensuring alignment with standard procedures and PSPF requirements
  • Collaborating seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders and senior team members to deliver efficient caseload management and execution

We are looking for individuals with extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments. A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required, is essential. Additionally, we require candidates with Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting), leadership experience, attention to detail, and a firm commitment to upholding high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.
