Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Work closely with government agencies and stakeholders to develop policy initiatives and projects that support women's safety.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on issues relating to women's safety to inform policy decisions.
  • Communication: Communicate complex policy information to different audiences in an accessible way.
  • Project Management: Provide project management support from scoping through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate stakeholder engagement across government agencies to ensure collaborative outcomes.
Requirements
  • Writing Skills: Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor policy content for different audiences.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management processes including planning, implementation and monitoring.
  • Prioritisation: Flexibility and prioritisation skills to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Women's Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of current and emerging issues in women's safety (policy experience in this field highly regarded).
