Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general property maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and safe for occupancy.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent service and has a strong background in multiple trades.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform general property maintenance and repairs (indoor & outdoor)
  • Repair or replace doors, locks, flyscreens, taps, handles, and light fittings
  • Basic carpentry, plaster patching, and painting touch-ups
  • Fix leaks in toilets, sinks, and other minor plumbing issues
  • Assemble furniture or fittings as required
  • Install or repair small fixtures and fittings (e.g. shelves, curtain rods, mirrors)
  • Conduct safety checks and report larger issues to relevant trades
  • Keep work areas clean and remove debris after completing tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
  • Strong practical skills across multiple trades (basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic tools and equipment preferred (depending on role agreement)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport
