We're seeking a dedicated individual to enrich the lives of our residents through engaging activities and meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a sense of belonging among residents by organizing hobbies, art classes, gardening clubs, day trips, and movie nights.
  • Promote emotional support and companionship through social activities like bingo, tea time, and outings.
  • Provide daily living assistance and emotional support for residents with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
  • Collect feedback from surveys and family conferences to ensure activities meet resident needs.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and address concerns.
  • Maintain infection control protocols and keep environments clean and safe.
  • Support meal preparation and serving, adhering to food safety standards and monitoring resident preferences.
Requirements:
  • Possess a passion for enriching lives and creating connections.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a can-do spirit.
  • Show creative ideas for making every day an adventure.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with residents and colleagues.
  • Have previous experience caring for elders in Aged Care or community settings.
  • Hold a current Min Certificate III in aged care or equivalent.
  • Be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate.
  • Possess an Australian driver's licence.
