Job Title: Seasonal Worker Liaison Officer

The primary objective of this role is to serve as a key point of contact for seasonal workers, providing essential orientation and support to facilitate their assimilation into the local environment, workplace, and development of skills for independent living in a new country.

  • Address worker enquiries and provide assistance in building skills to resolve concerns independently.
  • Build trust and establish strong relationships with workers to address any matters of concern.
  • Assist workers with access to required services (e.g. medical).
  • Act as a communication conduit between workers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate risks to worker wellbeing as required.

This casual role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends, with approximately 25 hours per week on average and increasing during peak season.

Ideal candidates reside in Brisbane North, possess excellent communication skills, have a passion for getting the best out of relationships, and hold a valid driver's licence.

A police check and valid working rights are prerequisites, as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
