About the Role

The Stakeholder Engagement Advisor plays a crucial role in managing and nurturing long-term, productive relationships with our key stakeholders including state and local government and industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Effective Stakeholder Management Strategies: Develop and implement tailored strategies to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring timely and relevant responses to their inquiries.
  • Monitor and Analyze Stakeholder Ecosystems: Identify risks, issues, and opportunities by monitoring external stakeholder ecosystems, and provide strategic advice and updates across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Provide Strategic Advice and Updates: Offer expert guidance and insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Act as First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for enquiries from elected representatives, providing timely and effective responses to their queries.
  • Coordinate Stakeholder-Facing Events: Plan and execute stakeholder-facing events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all attendees.
  • Contribute to Training Materials and Engagement Frameworks: Develop and deliver training programs and engagement frameworks to enhance the skills and knowledge of internal stakeholders, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to stakeholder engagement.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: A degree in communications, marketing, or public relations, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a stakeholder engagement role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Relationship Management Skills: The ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong Organizational and Planning Abilities: The capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Engagement Software: Experience with engagement software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
