Senior Service Delivery Manager

This is a senior-level position that requires the ability to manage service delivery, including business process and information technology, to a key Government client.

The primary point of contact for the client regarding overall and day-to-day service delivery, you will be responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and execution of contracted services. This includes meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA), cost, governance, performance, quality, innovation, continuous improvement, and value requirements through effective interaction with related service lines, solutioning groups, partners, and the client.

As a leader in service delivery, you will establish, lead, and maintain tight control of a skilled team of delivery resources to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems. You will also manage the statement of work, control risks, scope of work, and budget, participate in contract and account governance, and establish clear communication channels with the client and internally from a strategic and operational perspective.

Key responsibilities include participating in regular service performance reviews, conducting periodic meetings with clients and delivery teams, developing and administering budgets, schedules, and performance standards, achieving approved margin targets on assigned accounts, monitoring and reporting on financial health of the account, managing contract scope and variations, and taking ownership and accountability for all client issues to satisfactory resolution.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related professional experience, 3+ years managing specific area, essential qualifications in IT, Business Administration, or related disciplines, and knowledge of the business, industry, and market, as well as sales strategies, account/program management, service delivery, and financial analysis.

A sound understanding of major service offerings, appreciation of evolving technologies and industry trends, experience and understanding of support of an IT outsourced environment, including service desk, field services, network operations, applications, infrastructure, and data center environments, are also required. A proven track record in effective communications, managing service delivery, and relationship management skills, Australian Citizen with Baseline Clearance, flexibility to travel as required, are also necessary.
