Director of Credit and Structured Finance

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of high-profile transactions, lead analytical workstreams, and shape opinions and market commentary across Australia and New Zealand.

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the analysis and monitoring of structured finance and securitisation programmes to ensure quality and timely outcomes
  • Overseeing transaction performance and reviewing complex financial models to support rigorous assessments
  • Preparing and reviewing presentations, reports, and external market insights
  • P Presenting recommendations to senior committees and external stakeholders
  • Serving as a primary contact for arrangers, investors, issuers, and advisers, representing the business in the market
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical development
  • Driving strategic initiatives, thought leadership, and cross-border collaboration within the Asia-Pacific team

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 7–10 years' experience in structured finance, ideally from a credit, risk, or analytics background at a bank, arranger, issuer, investor, trustee, or consultancy
  • Deep knowledge of securitisation structures, transaction documentation, and financial modelling
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent the firm externally
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience guiding and mentoring junior staff
  • A relevant degree in finance, economics, or accounting; CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications highly regarded
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to influence outcomes in a fast-paced environment
